Our Luxury SUV: four passengers, four cases, a higher seat
The Audi Q7 is the vehicle behind our Luxury SUV fare class. It carries four passengers and four large cases in a spacious cabin quiet enough to work in, and the raised seat and wide doors make it the easiest car in the fleet to get into with a child, a pram or a bad knee.
Book it, with a professional chauffeur, for a family arriving at Melbourne Airport, two couples heading to the races, or a corporate transfer where the luggage would not fit a sedan. Fixed one-way fares from the airport: Melbourne CBD $145, Southbank $149, St Kilda $154.

Where the Q7 earns its place
-
Airport arrivals with luggage
Four international cases fit behind the second row. Your chauffeur meets you inside the terminal and loads them; nobody sits with a bag on their lap. See Melbourne Airport transfers.
-
Families and child seats
Two child restraints plus two adults is a squeeze in a sedan and comfortable in the Q7. The pram goes in the boot. Restraints are fitted before pickup when you tell us the ages.
-
Cruise, races and events
Cruise luggage to Station Pier, two couples to Flemington, a client group to the MCEC: the SUV keeps a party of four together with room to spare. See event transport.
Q7 or a sedan, People Mover or S-Class?
Choose the Q7 when the count is four, when there are more than two large cases, or when someone in the party finds a low sedan seat hard to get into. For one to three passengers with two cases, the Mercedes E-Class Executive Sedan is cheaper for the same trip ($124 to the CBD against $145). For five to seven the Mercedes V-Class People Mover is the right call. If the brief is the most refined ride for three, the Mercedes S-Class or Audi A8 Premium Sedan is the one to ask for.
Every route on the site is priced across all seven classes, so you can compare the Q7 fare against a sedan or a people mover for your own suburb before you book. The full list is on the fleet page.

Audi Q7 questions
How many passengers does the Q7 take?
Four, with four large cases in the boot. That leaves a proper seat for everyone rather than a third row with no luggage space.
How much does it cost to hire a chauffeur in Melbourne?
A fixed one-way transfer starts at $124 for Melbourne Airport to the CBD in an Executive Sedan, and $145 in the Audi Q7 Luxury SUV. Other suburbs, classes and standby bookings are quoted the same way, in writing, before you confirm. No meter, no surge.
Is the Q7 more expensive than a sedan?
Slightly. Melbourne Airport to the CBD is $145 in the Q7 against $124 in an Executive Sedan. Every airport route page shows both.
Can I request the Q7 specifically?
Yes. Select Luxury SUV on the booking form or name the Q7 in your quote request, and it is confirmed on your quote subject to availability.
Does it take child seats?
Yes: capsules, forward-facing seats and boosters, fitted before pickup. Tell us the children’s ages when you book.
