Disembarkation runs to a schedule the cruise line publishes. Give us your assigned time and ship name; your chauffeur waits at the terminal pickup area with a name board and adjusts if the ship clears late.
Station Pier, and how pickup works
Station Pier sits at the end of Waterfront Place, Port Melbourne, about 5 km south-west of the CBD. Cruise passengers use the terminal building at the pier; vehicles collect from the designated pickup area on Waterfront Place, not from the pier itself. On busy turnaround days the port manages traffic in stages, so an early pickup time is worth more than a fast car.
For disembarkation, tell us the ship, the disembarkation group or time the cruise line gives you, and a mobile number. Your chauffeur tracks the ship’s arrival, waits at the pickup area with a name board, and loads the luggage. If customs or the disembarkation queue runs over, the chauffeur waits; the fixed fare does not change.

Where do cruise ships dock in Melbourne?
Station Pier, Port Melbourne, at the end of Waterfront Place. It is Melbourne’s only dedicated cruise terminal; a small number of ships use Geelong.
Is there a shuttle from Station Pier to the city?
The 109 tram runs from Port Melbourne to the CBD and cruise lines sometimes sell a coach transfer. A chauffeur is the door-to-door option: fixed price, luggage in the car, dropped at the hotel entrance or the airport terminal.
How early should we leave for the ship?
Boarding usually opens several hours before sailing and closes 60 to 90 minutes before. Tell us the sailing time and we set the pickup so you arrive inside the boarding window with margin for the terminal queue.
What if the ship is late into port?
Give us the ship name and we track its arrival. The chauffeur waits at the pickup area and the fixed fare stays the same.
